Episode 93: Ben Whiting, Courageously Taking Action
Fun and informative interview with Speaker, Leadership Consultant and Magician, Ben Whiting and the courage it has taken for him to shift his business to make a bigger impact both before and after the pandemic!
Recognizing his passion for helping audiences in their careers and day-to-day lives, Ben began focusing on keynote speaking and leadership development. In 2016, he delivered his first TEDx talk and was hired by a leadership development firm shortly thereafter to deliver leadership training around the globe. Within two years, he moved from trainer to senior consultant at the firm. His leadership consulting clients have included international companies like UNiDAYS, as well as Fortune 50 corporations such as Schlumberger.
Today, Ben runs his own consulting firm employing magic and entertainment as tools to teach and inspire corporations, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions around the globe. He currently resides in Traverse City, Michigan with his beautiful wife Erin and his very good dog Scooter. Ben is also a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a member of American MENSA, still acts professionally (when he has the time), and is currently writing his 6th play, a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Tempest. He also enjoys raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with string, Michigan beers and Bruce Springsteen.
